This is to inform all residents that the project of beautification of Jetty area at Sattal was inaugurated today by Sh Devendra Chinautiya, Chairman, Nagar Palika Bhimtal at 1100 hrs. This occasion was graced by few residents of Raksha Retreat, people from neighboring areas, locals from Sattal and few people from Hidamba Ashram. Capt Ravee, President Raksha Retreat addressed the gathering.

Generally, people come to public places to take something, there are seldom who intend to give back to such places, Raksha Retreat has taken this initiative to do up and maintain this area. Following things were done up at this Jetty by Raksha Retreat as part of Society Social Responsibility:

1. Fixing railing on the Jetty
2. A dustbin
3. Two large benches
4. Flower beds with flowers
5. Painting of Tri Services flag, National flag with some write up on contribution by services
6. A small turnstile gate and a fencing
7. Painting of whole area
8. Some tile work
9. A solar light

This initiative has brought Raksha Retreat into limelight and Sh Devender Chinautiya and all locals appreciated such a task for a social cause. Function was followed by snacks and tea. With grace of Vankhandi Maharaj, all went happy. This Jetty shall be maintained by Raksha Retreat in future as well. President conveyed gratitude to Subedar Tara Singh Bisht and his team for their hard work in doing up this area.
